2018 Alumni Band registration has been extended until Tuesday the 9th! One more day!

Registration for Alumni Band, as has been the case the last several years, is a 2-step process:

Toe Meets Leather at 12:20PM against dook on 10/13. This means we're dusting off our playbook from 2 years ago...the last time we played dook at noon on Homecoming... Rather than worry about a tailgate that isn't very tailgate-y, come join us for GAMEDAY!

Are you on the donor list for the GT Band Alumni Roll Call Challenge? There are only a few days left for your 2017-2018 donation to count! Check the list for your name (you'll need to do a CTRL+F) and if you're not there and you know you donated to Roll Call, reach out to the Alumni Association to make sure you have Georgia Tech Band associated with your profile. It's probably best to call them at 404-894-2391.

GTBAA T-Night! Saturday, July 28 @ 6:30 PM

Hey Band!
GTBAA is hosting our very own T-Night for Georgia Tech Band Alumni by alumni. Come join us for an evening of story-telling, memories, and good times at Hudson Grille.

GTBAA (well, mostly Fireball...) is putting together a presentation of OLD pictures, stories, and other history of the Tech Band. If you have pictures and stories that you want to share or to be shared on your behalf at T-Night, please submit them to gtbaastories@gmail.com no later than July 14.

This will be a fun, family-friendly event (well, as family-friendly as a GT Band Alumni event can be in a public bar), and we'd love to see as many of you participate as possible. Hopefully, this will become a regular event. Please RSVP and purchase your tickets through this site. Tickets cost $25 for Alumni and adult guests, $10 for children under 15, and $20 for active GT Band members. The tickets cover the cost of food and non-alcoholic beverages. A cash bar will also be available.

Executive Director's Note: GT Band ROLL CALL CHALLENGE

Hey Band!
Sometime within the last month or so, many of you likely received a rather letter from me sent to you by the Alumni Association announcing or, for some, reminding you about the GT Band Roll Call challenge. The reality is that the whole thing is pretty simple:

If 900 GT Band alumni donate to Roll Call by the end of the 2017-2018 giving season/academic year, GTBAA gets $10,000.00 to be used toward programs and scholarships.

Here's what you need to know

• All you have to do is give to Roll Call like you normally would!
• It does not matter how much or how little you give. $25, $50, $100, $500 would all count the same in getting us toward the goal of 900 people.
• It really is that simple!
• If you don't know if your donation counted toward our participation, it couldn't hurt to give the Alumni Association a call. Their main number is 404-894-2391
• This is also a good reminder that your consecutive Roll Call giving years helps your A-T points standing!

As of this writing on March 4, 523 people out of our goal of 900 Band Alumni have donated and there are 117 days remaining.

I'd like to personally thank everybody who has donated to Roll Call as part of the challenge so far! I don't think I have to tell you what it means to Ma Tech and how it benefits the Institute overall.

Here's to hoping we can hit our goal of 900 Band Alumni donors and force the Executive Board into figuring out how to best use the $10K!

GT Alumni Band Basketball Game - Jan 3

Hey Band!
The Alumni Band is being presented with the opportunity to join the active Band for a pretty big men's basketball game on January 3rd!

Tech is hosting miami at Thrillerdome 2.0 on Wednesday, January 3rd with tipoff at 9pm. This means report will probably be around 8pm. Alumni Band members will be able to get in free with an instrument and we'll be able to purchase tickets for family and friends who want to join us at a special discounted rate (kind of a big deal for a primetime ACC game)!

2017 Alumni Band registration for Homecoming is now open!

Registration for Alumni Band, as has been the case the last several years, is a 2-step process:

Step 2: Follow the link on the confirmation page to the secure payment site and proceed with payment.

Participation in Alumni Band DOES NOT guarantee entrance into the game. Ticket purchase information for a GTBAA block has not yet been made available to us. Tickets to the game are available through an online ticket window which will be presented at the end of the registration process.

Homecoming Weekend 2017 starts October 19 this year! The GT Band will have its annual Surround Sounds concert on Friday, October 20 at 7PM at the Ferst Center and GAMEDAY is Saturday, October 21 against wake forest. Stay tuned for more information around the 2017 Alumni Band program soon!
